dc.description Excellent.
dc.description Demolition of the President's House on Gorsebrook Avenue to make way for the construction of the future Sobey Building. The President's House (formal residence of the University President in earlier days, which can be glimpsed in 99.03.0409) would have backed onto the rear of the Alumni House property at the end of Robie Street. There is a worker on scaffolding near the chimney. An orange barrier surrounds the house, and there is a dumpster in the yard. Loyola Residence, Loyola Academic Complex and the spire of the old chapel (at rear of McNally Building) are visible.
