dc.description	The spring 1994 graduates sit in the Halifax Metro Centre during their Convocation ceremony. The image of country singer Hank Snow, honorary degree recipient in absentia, is visible on a very large screen behind them, but they are facing in the opposite direction as he has not yet begun his Convocation address and they are watching another speaker.
dc.description	From External Affairs. On the reverse, '706.085' is written in black ink and 'Spring 94' and '6/40' are written in red ink. A Post-It note stuck to the back has 'Hank Snow bio' written on it in black ink, and a typed note taped to the back reads: 'Students listen to a speaker before turning to watch Hank Snow address his fellow graduates.' The photo appeared on page 5 of the June 1994 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times. It also appeared on page 123 of Saint Mary's University: An Anniversary Portrait
