dc.description	Bob Hayes decked out in his fishing gear at the Women's Field Hockey auction held April 7, 1978 in support of their trip to Britain. One of the prizes to be won was a fishing trip with Bob Hayes. See May 1978 p. 11 of the Times for more details; photo is on bottom row, 1st from left. Nova Scotia football great Bob Hayes was Saint Mary's first Athletics Director from 1958-1974 and 1983-1985, as well as the first Student Services Director from 1975-1983. He also played a major role in the 1984-89 Capital Campaign.
