dc.description	Professor Hallett (left, BA and MA from Dalhousie University, SMU English professor 1960-1997) and Robert Dietz (right, first Director/Curator (since 1971) of Saint Mary's University Art Gallery) at the 1978 Field Hockey team auction in support of the team's trip to Britain. Photo is also found on p. 11 of The Times, May 1978. Professor Hallet was auctioneer and Robert Dietz's proffered gourmet dinner prize went for $40.00.
