dc.description	Rev. Colin Campbell (member of Board of Governors and Vicar-General of archdiocese of Halifax) shakes hands with Margaret Meagher, honourary degree recipient (Doctor of Civil Law), as he presents her degree at the 1975 convocation ceremony. In the centre Dr. Owen Carrigan (SMU President 1971-1979) looks on. Miss Meagher was named to the Order of Canada; she was Canada's first woman ambassador.
