dc.description Commander (and artist, centre) C. Anthony Law shakes hands with an unidentified man (right) at his retirement reception. His artist wife Jane Shaw Law stands at his left. C.A. Law studied painting under Group of Seven member Fred Varley and was an official war artist during WWII. He helped found SMU's Art Gallery and was Artist in Residence here from 1967-1980.
