dc.description	Jazz trio "The Shades" wows 'em on stage at the annual Engineers Talent Show (held in the basement gymnasium of the old chapel). Performers are (l to r): Bob Hartlen (wielding saxophone, Engineering graduate 1960), George Chaisson (swivelling his hips Elvis-fashion, Arts graduate 1959), and Engineering graduate Frank Gervais. Photo also found on pg. 134 of 1958 Santamarian yearbook. In 1989 the chapel's double-height basement gymnasium was converted into two levels housing the Faculty Lounge, IT office, The Den computer lab, and classrooms.
