dc.description	Library staff person Joan James speaking to students during the Library Open House in the rear lobby area (with the card catalogue against the back wall). In 1991 a bigger, curved wooden "Services Plus" desk was built here; it is now a cosy reading nook with cheery fireplace and attractive New Books display. The door at rear leads into the back workroom but was closed over in 2011.
