dc.description	Fourteen graduates in graduation gowns and hoods ride the up escalator at the Halifax World Trade and Convention Centre on their way to the fall 2003 Convocation ceremony. The edge of the down escalator is visible to the left. The photograph was taken from the bottom of the escalator, looking up.

A piece of paper with the Public Affairs Department letterhead is taped to the back, and the following is typed on it: 'Cut lines / Elevator photo for page one / Going up. Saint Mary.s graduates take the escalator at Halifax.s World Trade Center (WTC) on their way to the convocation stage. On November 9, 2003 Saint Mary.s University held its Fall Convocation Ceremony at the WTC for the first time.' This photograph appeared on page 1 of the December 2003 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times.
