dc.description	This is in fact the eastern face of the Patrick Power Library showing the shadowy alcove on its north side that leads to the library entrance and lobby with its tiny Check-Out and Security Desk. The muted lighting in the photo makes the Science building look closer than it is; it is in fact into the background at the northwest corner of the library. The hard-to-see grassy area adjoining the library's alley (and alongside the Science Building wall seen here) was enclosed in 2008 to become the skylighted Atrium, connecting the library, science, McNally and Burke buildings.
