dc.description b&w photograph
dc.description Good condition: some marks and small scratches on photo.
dc.description Group photo of 28 boys in four rows (3 rows standing, 1 row seated). Only five boys' identities were confirmed by J. Mills in 2015: John Clancy (back row, far left) who graduated with a SMU Engineering diploma in 1926 followed by a Nova Scotia Technical College Engineering degree in 1928 (see pg. 15 of the 1928 Collegian yearbook); Larry O'Neill (back row, third from right); "Bim" Coolen (not Collen; second row back, fourth from left); and J. Madden (front row, third from left). None of the other boys can be identified because as of 2015, no hard copy of the 1926 or 1927 yearbooks has yet been located. Don Wallace was an Arts student (see pg. 29 of the 1928 Collegian yearbook). The surname Donahoe (see below) appears as an undergraduate in the 1930 Collegian yearbook. Basil Coady started Grade 9 in September 1927 (see pg. 33 of the 1928 Collegian yearbook) and matriculated in 1930 (see pg. 32 of the 1930 Collegian yearbook), and Harvey Conn was an 1935 Arts graduate (see pg. 64 in the 1935 Collegian yearbook, so these two names (see below) were mistakenly included with these undergraduates and graduates.
