dc.description	Excellent condition with tape op top two corners of reverse and reverse side yellowing.
dc.description	This photo portrait of Professor Allan Sabean first appears in the 1951 Collegian yearbook (pg. 19). Allan Sabean graduated with a BSc in 1940 (although the 1945 Collegian yearbook claims he has a BA too; see pg. 24, but this is unverified). In 1943 he achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the Canadian Officers Training Corps. Sabean was yearbook photographer from 1940-41 and 1956-58, photographed grinning with his characteristic pipe between his teeth. Sabean taught Chemistry at SMU from 1941-1985, and was Professor Emeritus of Chemistry from 1987-1993.
