William Burns, Archbishop Berry, Archbishop Panico, Father F. Lynch (SMU President 1950-1956) and Father Czako. As Apostolic Delegate, Panico visited Saint Mary's in 1955, commemorated in more photos on pg. 8 of the 1955 Santamarian yearbook; Panico's address can be found on pg. 23 of the same yearbook. Right Rev. William Burns (Arts class of 1923) enjoyed a distinguished career as Vicar General to the diocese's Bishop (exercising executive powers) from ca. 1942-1959. He also served on Saint Mary's Senate and as Vice Chancellor ca. 1951-1959. As of 2017, it is not possible to pinpoint these dates more accurately. Quite likely that the accompanying Art Gallery note (listing only 5 names, see below) has been mistakenly linked with this photo. Written in pencil on reverse: '99.0' and 'Father Arrupe 3rd right.' Stamped in black on reverse: '170.' Came in white mat with '99.0' written in pencil on reverse. Father Czako was identified by Wendy Bullerwell as man at right.
