dc.description Photograph of the north face of the Patrick Power Library, taken from Inglis Street. The Reference Room windows are at left, the entrance is between centre pillars, and curtained windows to other rooms are at right. The long north side of the old chapel with its church windows is visible at right. The vertical edge of the Science Building is just barely visible at extreme right. Loyola residence is in the distance. In 2008 the asphalt and grassy area in front of the library entrance was closed in to become the skylighted Atrium (connecting the library with the Burke, McNally and Science buildings), and the library entrance relocated to its east side.
