dc.description	BA student and valedictorian (and SMU and Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame inductee) Donald 'Taps' Gallagher (left) stands with his fellow graduates during Convocation held in the main level of the old chapel (built in 1953, complete with altar). This space was renovated into the McNally Theatre Auditorium which was officially opened on March 1 1982, with the stage moved to the east wall and the auditorium seating in the west wall (adjoining McNally Building). Photo also found on p. 10 of Maroon & White, June 1976.
