Fair condition but badly furled
Father Belair (left, Vice President and Treasurer) and Father McKenna (right, Dean of Men), chat to an unidentified young couple in evening wear. The young woman's dress is exceptionally fine quality, and her wearing long gloves is unusual: none of the young ladies squired to the various campus balls in the 1950's wore gloves, nor were their dresses quite so rich.
Father Belair first appears at SMU in 1946 as Class Master of Grade 10A; by 1948 he has the formidable title of Dean of Discipline, a post he held until 1967.
