| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to create and validate a workplace-specific measure of the Dark Tetrad (i.e. narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism). A 22-item scale was created that possessed acceptable reliability and construct validity. Each scale trait was positively associated with, and predicted, measures of workplace deviance even above and beyond pre-established measures. These results support the use of a context-specific personality measure for organizational research and have implications for developing new research on the Dark Tetrad in the workplace. | en_CA |
