dc.description pp. 1-10
dc.description Scope and content: This article briefly examines the fieldworkers who studied the people in the Kilenge region prior to the authors, and the differences in their observations and conclusions. The authors consider divergences in the areas of artistic production, migration, and social organization. Reasons for divergence of record are also outlined and include different informants, and different interests/backgrounds of fieldworkers.
