dc.description Mickey Proude (left), President of Local 269 of the International Longshoremen's Association, gives a Capital Campaign donation to Dr. Joseph Jabbra (centre, VP Academic and Research) and Capital Campaign Assistant Bob Hayes (right) in October. Nova Scotia football great Bob Hayes was Saint Mary's first Athletics Director from 1958-1974 and 1983-1985, as well as the first Student Services Director from 1975-1983. He also played a major role in the 1984-89 Capital Campaign.
