dc.description Very good. There are small smudges of what appears to be pink marker.
dc.description The preliminary design in cross-section (prepared by Sperry MacLennan, architects) showing the planned University Gymnasium renovations (the gym being in the basement of the old chapel, with steeple structure visible far left), illustrating how this double-height space will be converted into the Faculty Lounge, IT office, The Den computer lab, and classrooms. The revamped ground and basement levels were officially opened in October 1989.
dc.description From External Affairs. A Post-It stuck to the back reads: 'cap. Campaign #24.' A clipping of newsprint taped to the back reads: 'Alterations to the Old Gym: This design drawing shows how the height of the old Gym will be used to form two levels of classroom, laboratory and lounge space when the conversion is completed. Work on the project started recently.' The photo is reproduced (much smaller) on page 83 of Saint Mary's University: An Anniversary Portrait by Anne West.
