dc.description	Group photo of young men at the Saint Mary's University Graduation Ball held at the Nova Scotia Hotel in May 1955. Martin, Hayes, and Murray attained Arts degrees, while Murphy, Dixon, and Hemphill were Commerce graduates, and Sheehan an Engineering graduate. Buckley (Arts) and Garceau (Commerce) actually graduated in 1956. Identities confirmed by J. Mills in 2015.
dc.description	Caption attached to photo reads: 'Front Row: Jack Buckley, John Martin [small cross], Class President, Joe Murphy [small cross]. Back Row: Charlie Dixon [small cross], Jack Hayes [small cross], Bernie Sheehan, Doug Murray, Lorne Hemphill, Jack Garceau. (t deceased).' The lower case t's indicate which persons were deceased at the time the photo was donated to the Archives.
