The photo appeared on page 1 of the July 1998 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times with the following caption: 'The Nova Scotia Mass Choir made a real splash at this year's Spring Convocation. Linda Carvery, President and Musician with the Choir, receieved an Honorary Doctor of Letters from Saint Mary's. Instead of your typical convocation address, Carvery performed alongside the choir, much to the delight of her audience.'
