A portrait of Dr. Walter Block, senior economist at the Frasier Institute in Vancouver and Director of its Centre for the Study of Economics and Religion. The bearded Dr. Block spoke as part of Saint Mary's University's Visiting Speakers Series on November 28, 1985.
From External Affairs. '22.70' was written in the white space at the top in turquoise and scratched out. On the reverse, '1043.1' is written in the top right corner in black pen, 'DR. WALTER BLOCK' is written at the top in pencil, and below that, the following is written in black ink: 'Visiting Speakers Series, Nov/85. Times, Nov/85 p.1.' The photo appeared on page 1 of the November 1985 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times, with the following caption: 'Walter Block will speak on what he considers the fallacy of economic sexual discrimination in Canada'.
