dc.description	Photo of one-person Check-Out and Security Desk at the Patrick Power Library entrance. Patrons entered alongside the brick half-wall (as the male student is doing) and exited on the other side through the security gate. A second Circulation Desk (for paying fines) was located against the back wall (shared with the workroom) and to the left of this Check-Out Desk. Between 1980-1985, the Circulation Desk was dismantled and its components used to enlarge the tiny Check-Out Desk, and in 1991 a second bigger curved wooden "Services Plus" desk was built at the rear of the library lobby, necessitating the relocation of the microfiche readers. The woman standing to the right of the Check-Out Desk (with ponytail, face turned away) is almost certainly Audrey "Ginger" MacNevin. Over 2009-2010, this dark north entrance was closed and made into a bright reading nook with colourful club chairs and end tables.
