dc.description b&w photograph
dc.description Very good condition: sides curling, both left corners bent, line running diagonally across middle of photo, remnants of matte on reverse and size with scroll-like attachment to bottom of photo 19.9 cm x 24.3 cm
dc.description Group photo of 25 boys in 3 rows (2 standing, 1 sitting). Addis Daley sits in the front row (far left); he also appears in 98.04.0440 and 98.04.0451. Cuthbert Stephens is in the second row, far right. It is not possible to confirm the 1923 date of this photo because as of 2015, no hard copy of the 1923 yearbook has yet been located. Identical to 98.04.0216.
dc.description Written in black calligraphy on scroll-like attachment to bottom of photo: 'Matriculation.' Written in pencil on reverse: '5,' '24-25,' '22-23' and '59.0.' Came in white matte with '59.0' written in pencil on reverse. Note from Art Gallery identifies three boys (but doesn't say which of the 25) as 'Owen Meehan, Henry Godsoe, Fr. Jim Hayes' (not to be confused with future Chancellor James Martin Hayes). In 2016 J. Mills found these three names in the College Rolls in both the 1921 and 1922 Santamarian yearbooks, but frustratingly no photographs. From Art Gallery.
