dc.description Boarding student Dale Sinclair (Science class of 1960) relaxes in casual attire in a residence room, looking at a record album cover while listening to music on a portable record player (with carry handle). Behind him is a book shelf with a sign taped to it reading: "Wednesday night [formal] dress optional, Saturday night Gents Suits and Ties." A larger, uncropped version of this picture is found on pg. 73 of the 1959 Santamarian yearbook with the caption "Second floor [of McNally Building] - Music for lonely boys," as two other students listen along with Dale.
