dc.description.abstract	Senator Richard Donahoe (descendant of the Power family and senior trustee of the Power estate) at the podium gives an opening speech during Patrick Power Library opening ceremony. To the far left is Maynard McAskill (Minister of Education), Keith MacRae (Vice President of Dineen Construction) leg is showing beside Maynard McAskill. Father William Stewart (former Head Librarian) sits behind podium (hidden from view). To the far right of the podium is Austin Hayes (Chairman of the Board of Governors), and Dr. Owen Carrigan (SMU President 1971-1979).
