dc.description	At spring Convocation, administration and faculty members sit onstage in academic regalia, in front of a row of flags. Graduates in gowns and hoods sit in chairs facing the stage, and guests sit in the auditorium seating. The peculiar red blur in the centre of the photo is actually the remainder of the student procession arriving to take their seats. There is also a shorter white blur on the right side. A photographer can be seen behind the graduates, and the Saint Mary's University crest is suspended over the stage.
dc.description	From External Affairs. On the reverse, stamped in black ink inside a circle is the following: 'BASIN PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES. BEDFORD, NOVA SCOTIA (902) 835-7135 ARNIE CONROD.' Also on the reverse, 'MAY 1998' is stamped in black sideways on the right side. A strip of Post-It note stuck to the back has 'EC' written on it in pencil.
