Several students employed as registration staff remove cards representing students enrolled in a course from many small boxes representing courses. When a box is empty, registration for that class is full. A female student whose nametag reads 'LORI' is in the foreground, looking at a sheet of paper and pointing to one of the many small boxes in the units placed on tables.
From External Affairs. On the reverse, '961.2' is written in black pen in the top right corner and an 'E' with a circle around it is written in blue pen. The following is typed on a slip of paper taped to the back: 'Each class has its own pigeon hole' A cropped version of this photo appeared on page 3 of the September 1990 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times. A Post-It note stuck to the back has 'SMU TIMES E PAGE 3 50%' written on it in blue pen and '12/195' written on it in black pen.
