Excellent condition: small scratch on kilt of boy in center, and under his right foot, size with matte 30.1 cm x 35.1 cm, matte dirty along bottom edge, tape along top edge of matte, and came with white frame-matte attached to front.
Portrait of three boys in Scottish attire in a dance pose: right toe pointed outward, right hand on hip, and left arm overhead. Two of these boys appear in the Dramatic Class photo (2-3 years older) on pg. 22 of the 1928 Collegian yearbook: R.A. Donohoe (second from l) and G.B. Murphy (second from r). All three appear in the front row in 98.04.0383: Donahoe is second from the right, Gerry Murphy is fourth from the right, and Billy Murphy (dancing centre here) is fourth from the left.
Embossed in lower right corner of matte: 'Gauvin & Gentzel, Halifax, Can.' Written in pencil on reverse: '154.0.'. Note from Art Gallery identifies the boys as 'R.A. Donahoe, Wm. Murphy, Gerald Murphy'. From Art Gallery.
