Front row l to r: Arthur Clancy (misspelled Claney), Edward Sinnott, William Pepper, Cecil ("Dick") Hamilton, Frank Carroll (Arts class of 1933, ordained ca. 1939, hockey coach in 1944), Edmund O'Leary (not Edward), Harold Egan, and Francis ("Curly") Granville. Second row l to r: Tom Dickie (passed away in early 1930 after a short illness; see pg. 12 and 27 in the 1930 Collegian yearbook), Leo MacDonald, George Burleton (not Burlton, Science class of 1933), Hugh MacDonald, Jack Christian, Victor O'Connor, and ? (arms crossed). Third row l to r: John Lynch ("Jack"), George Healy, Joseph Bede (not Beed), Walter Murphy, John Grant, and John Connolly (Engineering class of 1932). Back row l to r: Louis Nelson, Francis Foley, Ralph Hannifen, Graham Simms, and Louis Norris. Identities confirmed by J. Mills in 2015. By 1935 Jack Lynch had joined the Saint Mary's faculty and coached many age levels of hockey in 1940. In 1944 he was a Lieutenant in the Canadian Officers Training Corp. Photo (entitled simply "Freshmen" but written about as Engineers) found on pg. 16 of the 1930 Collegian yearbook.
