Far left is Ron Wallace (MLA 1970-1978, Halifax Mayor 1980-1991). Wallace was Maritime Middleweight and Light-Heavyweight Inter-Collegiate Boxing Champion in 1937 and was one of the first graduates of the (then) Royal Roads Naval Academy, serving in the Royal Canadian Navy 1942-1945. He was awarded an honourary Doctor of Civil Laws in 1995. Oddly, there is no graduation photo of Wallace in the 1939 Collegian yearbook. Some details credited to alumnus Ervin J.
