dc.description	Former Nova Scotia Premier John Buchanan receives his honourary degree from Dr. Ken Ozmon (left, SMU President 1979-2000) and Archbishop Hayes (Arts class of 1943, Chancellor 1970-1980), while Elizabeth Chard watches (seated right, History faculty from 1961, then Registrar 1973-2005, also instrumental in establishing women's varsity sports at SMU).
