dc.description.abstract Rights-Based Approaches (RBA) to development programming are quickly gaining ground in their use by development practitioners. UNICEF, the United Nations Child's Fund, among other UN agencies has adopted the approach and publicly championed its virtues as a programming tool. This research examines various case studies of the utilization of rights-based approaches, and identifies lessons emerging from the implementation of RBA in the general Zambian experience of development programming, with a focus on UNICEF-Zambia.
