Condition: Good
Scope and Content: The interview begins with the following statement: “The interview was recorded on the nights of November 3 and November 4, 1977 and the interview deals with cross checking some of the statements made by Dark on Kilenge social organization, pisins, namos, natavolo, and aisapo .” Dark refers to J.C. Dark, an anthropologist working out of Southern Illinois University who visited the area in the 1960s and again in 1970. The introduction is followed by a Kilenge two men speaking back and forth in a foreign language – probably Maleu, the native language of Kilenge.
