audio cassette
Condition: Good
Scope and Content: This side of the recording starts with a man speaking in English, though the quality of the recording makes it difficult to understand everything he’s saying.
The first few words are mumbled, followed by, “about 15 minutes ago. Apparently, ??? is cross with … everybody is sitting around whispering, so we are too. Mind you, we don’t know what people are whispering.”
This comment is followed by a conversation several people in a foreign language. The discussion quickly gets a little heated, with one man speaking loudly and rapidly. According to the cassette caption, the dispute is over Buai or betel nuts.
