dc.description Scope and Content: This article discusses Namor, the ancestral god of the Kilenge people. The text provides an overview of the history of belief in Namor and the changing role he plays in the lives of the people today. Most people believe in the Christian God as creator as opposed to Namor at the time of the writing of this article and only some still remember and tell Namor stories. The article includes several appendices of transcribed Namor stories.
