File consists of a lecture given by Father Burke-Gaffney to the Association of Professional Engineers of New Brunswick on January 26, 1962. The lecture concerns the shift in astronomy from being an observational science to an experimental science, and uses the study of comets as an example. The lecture contains many handwritten corrections by Burke-Gaffney.
