Abstract:
A Nova Scotia fact sheet, prepared presumably by the Wentworth-Colley Research Bureau in advance of the G-7 Summit, asserts that some future residents of Africville previously inhabited the Spanish Shoal in District 1 (where the G-7 Summit is to occur). These residents were relocated to Africville in 1838 and received land rights to Africville in 1867 from Queen Victoria. Contact information for the Wentworth-Colley Research Bureau is provided.
