Soldier Settlers on the Annapolis Road from Hammonds Plains to Annapolis Royal c. 1820-1822

These tables identify soldiers who served in various units of the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars and subsequently settled along the Annapolis Road. They were established in three main areas named after their commanders - Sherbrooke (later New Ross), Dalhousie (on the stretch of road nearest Annapolis Royal) and Wellington (toward the Halifax end).
