The graduates sit in chairs on the floor of the Metro Centre, guests sit in the stands, and administration and faculty sit on a stage, their chairs in front of a row of flags. The ceremony is in progress. One student is walking onto the stage to receive his degree, another is walking off the stage, and there are a line of graduates waiting by it. The Saint Mary's University crest hangs above the stage. From External Affairs. On the reverse, '511.1' is written in pencil in the top left corner, and '11/39' is written in the bottom right corner in red ink. The following is stamped on the back in light blue ink: 'CLARK PHOTOGRAPHIC LIMITED P. O. Box 758 Halifax N. S. Phone: (902) 423-7438 B3J 2V2 / NEGATIVE NO / JOB NO.'
