Academic medal winners pose with Dr. Colin Dodds onstage during Convocation, in front of a row of flags (from l to r): Elizabeth MacDonald (Master of Education, Scott Gibson (Science), Marlene Coffey (Education), Karen McDonald (Governor General's Gold Medal), Annette D'Eon (MBA), Jacqueline Barr, (Governor General's Silver Medal), Robert Boutilier (Science), Dr. Colin Dodds (Vice-President, Academic and Research 1991-2000, SMU President 2000-2015), and Shawn Harmon (Arts). Identical to 03.04.0452 and 06.04.0037.
From External Affairs. There is a piece of tissue paper taped over the image, and '32%' and 'Full frame should fit' are written on the tissue paper in red pen, while a '3' with a circle around it is written in pencil. On the reverse, '509.1' is written in pencil, and a '3' with a circle around it and '1005' are written in green pen. '12/39' is written in red ink in the bottom right corner. The following is stamped on the back in light blue ink: 'CLARK PHOTOGRAPHIC LIMITED P.O. Box 758 Halifax N.S. Phone: (902) 423-7438 B3J 2V2 / NEGATIVE NO / JOB NO'. In blue pen, "187" is written after "NEGATIVE NO" and "14-93-5" is written after "JOB NO." The photo appeared on page 7 of the July 1993 issue of the Saint Mary's University Times with the following caption: "Winners of the academic medals, l to r: Elizabeth MacDonald (Master of Education, Scott Gibson (Science), Marlene Coffey (Education), Karen McDonald (Governor General's Gold Medal), Annette D'Eon (MBA), Jacqueline Barr, (Governor General's Silver Medal), Robert Boutilier (Science), Dr. Colin Dodds (Vice-President, Academic and Research), Shawn Harmon (Arts)."
