dc.description.abstract In just over a five week period, three towns located in Nova Scotia voted for the dissolution of their municipal status: Springhill on March 4, 2014; Bridgetown on April 1, 2014; and Hantsport on April 16, 2014. The Future of Springhill is a case study that examines several of the financial and economic challenges faced by the Town of Springhill that contributed to such a decision. en_CA
