'Scandalous' : city moves to evict Africville protesters

Abstract

This article reports on a city council meeting held ahead of the passing of City Ordinance 188. The meeting highlighted significantly different perspectives on the city’s efforts to evict Eddy and Victor Carvery from Seaview Park. The article also notes the significant absence from this gathering of representatives from the Africville Genealogy Society, headed by Irvine Carvery, brother to Victor and Eddy.
