dc.description Newspaper article en_CA
dc.description.abstract Utilizing a political exchange which occurred on March 10, 1995, between Zelda Lucas and MP Mary Clancy at Clancy’s Gottingen Street constituent office, writer O’Neill highlights ‘the profound chasm’ between the diverse economic interests of different societal levels. Against this backdrop of economic disparity, O’Neill urges readers to join a People’s Summit in Halifax from June 11-18, coinciding with the G-7 Summit. The article concludes with a contact phone number for those interested in learning more about the People’s Summit. Notably, the marginalia beside Zelda Lucas’ name includes the acronym ‘PSAC’.
