| dc.description.abstract | Is it every ethically acceptable to conduct development projects in countries or under conditions which enforce discriminatory policies against women? The following study examines the role of Canadian development policy in the promotion of human rights and specifically gender equality in Canadian development projects. Evaluations of Canadian development policy are undertaken for the purpose of identifying past successes and failures. Recommendations for future policy design are identified. | en_CA |
